Steel or Titanium valves, Porting accepted, Minimum valve angle 21 1/2 degree.
Dirt Brodix spec heads may be used at 2,400 lbs.
Cranks & Rods:
Steel crank, Steel rods
No Titanium cranks or rods, No aluminum rods permitted.
Compstar Performance Crankshafts and Connecting Rods are the choice of the USMOD ASSOCIATION
Pistons:
Flat Top
MAHLE PISTONS work best with Dart Platinum Iron Eagle Heads
Harmonic Dampers:
OEM or Steel aftermarket. Aluminum not permitted.
Camshaft:
Roller cam, No rule on firing order.
Tappets:
Chevy - .842"
Ford - .875"
Chrysler - .904"
Belt drives and gear drives not permitted.
Oiling System:
Aluminum or Steel Pan.
Wet sump only, Dry sump not permitted.
Vacuum pumps not permitted, External wet sump oil pumps not permitted.
Carburetor:
Single 4 barrel. Open carburetor, Any production carb.
Split carbs not permitted, Fuel Injection not permitted.
The Mighty E85 ethanol racing carburetor by Demon is available in a 750cfm version
Ignition:
Magneto, HEI, MALLORY, MSD.
Crank triggers not permitted.
Traction control not permitted.
Mallory's new CT Pro Ignition is the hot tip for 2009!
Fuel Pump:
Mechanical fuel pumps only.
Fuel:
E-85 fuel only.

Minimum Weight: 2,400 lbs. with driver, Big Block
Minimum Weight: 2,200 lbs. with driver, Small Block
Clear Lexan Sail Panels Permitted.
Maximum Overall Height: 64", The gauge will be set at 65"
TIRES
Racer - 38 or harder - 92" x 13" RR
Hoosier - Dirt hard or soft - 92" x 13" RR
Goodyear - H200 or F300 - 92" x 13" RR
Tires may be mixed.
